We are pleased to invite you to the UK Contingent IST Weekend on 2nd to 3rd June 2018 which will be held at Walesby Forest Activity Centre, Nottinghamshire.
The weekend will be a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the Jamboree, the role of IST and the UK Contingent Vision.

You will find out more about:
- The Jamboree site;
- IST roles;
- The IST activity prorgramme;
- The role of IST in supporting Units in the run up to and at the Jamboree;
- Preparing yourself for the Jamboree;
- Travel plans;
- Insurance, money and personal well-being; and
- IST Post Event.
The UK Contingent travel provider, Travel Places, will be joining us for the weekend to answer all your questions on travel and the opportunities for optional Additional Tours.

Detailed joining instructions will be sent out nearer the time and will be published here, but here are the basics for the weekend.
When does the weekend start?
The IST Weekend will start on Saturday morning. You have the option to arrange to stay at Walesby Forest Activity Centre on the Friday night, though you will be responsible for making arrangements directly with the campsite.
Where will I stay?
You will need to bring you own tent and camping equipment for the weekend.
What will I eat?
All meals from Saturday lunch to Sunday lunch will be provided. Please ensure you have completed your dietary requirements on EventsAir.
What about entertainment?
There will be an evening of entertainment on Saturday, to give you the opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones.
I am under 18, can I attend?
At the time of the IST Weekend a number of IST will be under 18.
Normal permission to camp rules will apply to those people who are under 18.
The standards of behaviour at the weekend should reflect that young people will be present at the event, and the Association’s rules will apply.
